Group Medical and Dental

The San Jacinto County Appraisal District provides group hospitalization and dental for all full-time employees, from policies approved by the Board of Directors.

Life Insurance

SJCAD provides life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage for all full-time employees, from a policy approved by the Board of Directors.

Holidays

The District observes paid holidays that are approved by the Board of Directors, annually.

Paid Sick Leave

San Jacinto County Appraisal District offers all full-time employees 8 days of paid sick leave each year.

Paid Personal Leave

The District provides all full-time employees with 2 days of paid personal leave each year.

Paid Vacation Leave

SJCAD provides 1 to 3 weeks annual paid vacation for all full-time employees, based on seniority.

Retirement

San Jacinto County Appraisal District participates in the Texas County and District Retirement System (TCDRS), and does not contribute to Social Security, except for Medicare, which is mandatory.

Paid Training

All training and registrations required for the performance of appraisal district duties is provided to the employee at no charge.
